Who We Are?

Nordic Hope Foundation is an independent, non-political and non-profit organization working across the Horn of Africa to empower communities, promote peace, support trauma recovery and expand opportunities for women and youth.

Our approach is rooted in values associated with the Nordic tradition — dignity, equality, transparency and community-driven development.

Our Mission

To support community resilience by empowering women and youth, promoting peace and social cohesion, advancing trauma healing, and strengthening climate-resilient development — through inclusive, evidence-based and community-driven approaches.

Our Vision

A resilient and peaceful Horn of Africa where empowered communities shape their own future — inspired by values of dignity, equality and hope.
